June 21, 2021: RFP's Available
The United States Probation and Pretrial Services of Nebraska is announcing as of June 21, 2021 the Request for Proposals(RFPs) have been posted to the website https://www.nep.uscourts.gov/treatment-services. Those individuals/businesses that are interested in reviewing the RFP may now view these documents to determine interest in submitting a bid to secure these services in the District of Nebraska. The deadline for submission of the necessary documents and financial bid is 4:30pm on July 30, 2021.
The Judiciary’s procurement regulations do not require competition if expenditures are expected, or historically, have been under $10,000.00. Also, the defendant/offender population, that would be available for solicited services, often fluctuates throughout the year. As a result of the continual changes, the United States Probation and Pretrial Services office has reduced the number of RFPs that have been posted comparative to previous procurement cycles.
Should there be any questions, feel free to contact the treatment services team through the website listed above. Tentatively, the award winners will be announced prior to September 1, 2021 with services in place to begin on October 1, 2021.
