Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $15-$35 per hour

Hours: 30-60 per week

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and safety while demonstrating proficiency in operating various types of tow trucks. This role requires the ability to handle diverse towing situations, including flatbed towing and roadside assistance, while ensuring the safe transport of vehicles.

Duties: 

- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed models, to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs during towing operations.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to assist stranded motorists.
- Maintain accurate records of towing activities and vehicle conditions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Manage conflicts with professionalism and tact when dealing with distressed customers or challenging situations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in safe working condition.

Qualifications: 

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred; but not necessary at this time. experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with automotive repair or mechanic skills is advantageous.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery may be beneficial.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult interactions effectively.
- Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
