Housing - Salvation Army

Transitional Housing - (402) 898-5992: Short-term housing for men, women, couples and families. Resources like counseling, job training, employment placement assistance and substance abuse assessments help people struggling with homelessness receive the support and gain the skills and knowledge they need to thrive independently.

Veterans Housing - (402) 898-6017: The VA Housing Opportunities Program (VA-HOP) provides up to 12 months of transitional community-based housing for veterans and their families who are struggling with homelessness. The VA Community Assistance Support Services (VA-CASS) supports homeless veterans who have medical, physical, mental health or substance use needs.

Housing for Older Adults - (402) 898-5880: Offers clean, bright, affordable apartments for adults age 62 and older with low incomes.

Permanent Supportive Housing: Permanent supportive housing programs serve men, women and families who are chronically homeless and whose head of the household has a documented disability. Case management, referrals to community resources, individualized planning, crisis support, money management and 24-hour staff accessibility are also provided. Referrals accepted from Metro Area Continuum of Care for the Homeless via local shelters and outreach workers.
