Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Flexible

Description: The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair procedures on their assigned property. This job includes several duties to provide for the needs of our residents and keep the buildings and grounds in excellent condition. This is done through open lines of communication with residents, management and outside vendors along with routine and non-routine maintenance activities. 

Duties:

• Perform routine, daily inspections and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Maintain grounds
• Maintain Building Interiors
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules
• May perform safety checks through the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment and to eliminate potential hazards
• Maintenance staff will answer daily service requests through work order requests during regular business hours
• Responding to the resident with a solution or plan of action within 24 hours

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience
• Basic knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Specialized knowledge
• Professional Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable Transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 

Working Conditions:

• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, on-call hours and weekend assignments as need
• Work is both indoor and outdoor and is subject to exposure to extreme weather conditions
• Frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases 
• Work involves stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning and reaching
